Duration of treatment:
The duration of psychotherapeutic treatment depends on the desired goals and the personal starting point. A therapy plan is drawn up together. As a rule, the sessions take place every 2 to 6 weeks. However, shorter or longer intervals can also be arranged. At the end of a therapy session, the next appointment is arranged together.
End of therapy: It is recommended to discuss the end of therapy. A final discussion is also recommended in the event of discontinuation.
Cancellation policy:
Please cancel appointments 48 hours before the therapy session (by SMS, e-mail or phone call). If it is not possible to replace the therapy session, you will have to pay for the session. A therapy session canceled at short notice could be used by someone else. I ask for your understanding.
Confidentiality:
As a psychotherapist, I am subject to the statutory duty of confidentiality in accordance with §15 PthG. This duty of confidentiality also applies beyond the end of the psychotherapy.
Initial consultation procedure:
Your concerns will be discussed and an appointment made for an initial consultation in an initial telephone call or by email. The initial consultation serves to get to know each other personally.
There is enough time for you to tell me about your personal concerns and initial therapy goals are defined. In the next step, a possible change of setting (family, partner, child, as required) is also clarified together. Do you need the participation of family members or your partner? We will also go through the framework conditions and you can get an idea of how I work. The initial consultation is subject to a fee, as it is already part of the therapy.
